            Client-side encryption is used to prevent the interception of (payment)information. This way information provided at the Merchant Checkout is not visible for unauthorized parties in the digital chain.

            Merchants who implement CSE, can offer a ‘seamless checkout experience’ to their customers. The buyer now can enter its (credit)card information at the Merchant checkout itself. The solution supports the following payment methods / brands:

            • Bancontact
            • Mastercard
            • Visa
            • American Express
            • Maestro

            Client-Side Encryption (CSE) is already supported by Buckaroo for a longer period of time. The so called Software Development Kit (SDK) is a is quick and easy way for the Merchant to integrate the CSE functionality in their own environment. The SDK is available for following operating systems :

            • Android
            • iOS
            • JavaScript for other platforms

            The Software Development Kit with Client Side Encryption for Android and iOS is available for Merchants who want to use their own payment page within the Merchant App for Cards payments. The SDK's for the different platforms can be downloaded from the SDK section of our Knowledge base.
