Customer

What it is

A customer is a stored record that represents a person or organization. It includes identity and contact details, address information, optional organization details, and Metadata.

Why it exists

Customers let Merchants persist and reuse customer information across payment flows, instead of embedding customer data in each individual Sale.

How it relates to other concepts

A customer can be associated with a sale. This allows us to build a customer profile and track that customer’s purchases over time.
