Configuration
On this page, we'll guide you through configuring the Buckaroo app in just a few steps.
- Access the Ecwid backend: Start by logging in to your Ecwid store's backend.
Navigate to Apps and then My Apps. - Open the Buckaroo Payments app: In My Apps, locate the Buckaroo Payments app.
Click on the button next to it to open the app. If you donβt see it listed yet, refer to our installation guide on the installation page on how to install the app. - Begin on the getting started page: The app will open on the Getting Started page, where youβll find an overview of steps to connect your Buckaroo account. Next, go to General Settings in the menu to proceed.
- Configure the operating mode: Choose the mode in which you want to operate: Test Mode for testing purposes or Live Mode to start receiving real payments.
- Enter Buckaroo API keys: In the General Settings section, enter your Buckaroo website key and secret key. You can find these keys in the Buckaroo Plaza. If prompted, log in to Buckaroo Plaza to access this page.
- Fill in the Transaction Description: Enter a description for your transactions. This will appear on the customer's bank statement and in the Buckaroo Plaza, so we recommend using something easily recognizable, such as your store name together with our {order_number} tag to display their order number. You can also set a separate description for debit and credit (refund) transactions.
- Save your settings: After completing the previous steps, click the Save button to apply your changes.
