Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second verification step when you sign in to your Buckaroo account. This helps protect your account, even if someone else knows your password.
You can set up 2FA using one of the following methods:
- Passkey: Sign in using your device PIN, fingerprint, facial recognition, or security key. This is the recommended method.
- Authenticator app: Use an app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy to generate verification codes.
- Email verification: Receive a verification code by email when signing in.
We recommend setting up a passkey where your device supports it. A passkey is secure, fast, and does not require entering a verification code.
Note: From 15 June 2026, two-factor authentication is required for all users
