Supported actions
PayPal supports the following actions:

| Pay | Starts a PayPal payment. |
| Refund | Refunds a successful PayPal payment. |
| PayRecurrent | Starts a recurrent PayPal payment. |
| ExtraInfo | Adds extra information, such as shipping address details, to a PayPal transaction. |
| Authorize | Reserves funds on the buyer's PayPal account without moving them. The authorization is valid for up to 29 days. The merchant can later capture the funds fully or partially, or void the authorization with CancelAuthorize. |
| Capture | Moves the funds of a previous Authorize transaction. Full captures, partial captures, and multiple captures are supported up to the originally authorized amount and within the 29-day authorization period. |
| CancelAuthorize | Voids the remaining uncaptured amount of an authorization and releases the reserved funds back to the buyer. It can also be used after a partial capture to release the remaining authorized amount. Once voided, the authorization can no longer be captured. |
Note: Authorize, Capture and CancelAuthorize are supported on PayPal V2 only. Merchants on the legacy PayPal acquirer continue to use Pay, Refund and PayRecurrent as before; their integration is unaffected by this addition.
