Configuration
Settings that apply across the app live under General settings. Settings for an individual payment method are covered in Payment methods.
Everything on this page is saved per storefront. If you have more than one, check the storefront shown at the top of the left menu before saving.
Credentials
Store key and Secret key connect the app to your Buckaroo account. See Installation for where to find them and how to verify them with Test Connection.
Checkout settings
Checkout style sets how the Buckaroo checkout is presented:
One Step Checkout or Multi-Step Checkout.
Discount field controls whether a discount field is shown in the checkout.
Transaction descriptions
Under Advanced Settings, the transaction description is the text that accompanies the transaction at Buckaroo and, for most payment methods, on your customer's bank statement.

You can enter static text or use tags that are filled in per order:
{order_number}{shop_name}
Including the order number makes it easier for customers to match a charge to an order, and easier for you to trace a payment when they contact you about it.
Refunds
The Refunds toggle controls whether you can refund from your BigCommerce admin, in full or in part. It is enabled when you install the app.
With it switched off, refunds have to be handled in Plaza instead, which leaves your BigCommerce order showing as fully paid. See Order management.
Address validator
An optional address check during checkout, using Postcode.eu. Switching it on reveals fields for the service, an API key and a secret.
This uses a third party service and needs your own active account with that provider.
Buckaroo does not supply the account or the keys.
Shipping providers
When enabled, customers can select a pickup point from the configured shipping provider during checkout. The service is Sendcloud, and it needs the Sendcloud service point picker public key.
As with the address validator, this requires your own account with the provider.
Custom scripts
Custom JavaScript and CSS can be loaded into your checkout page to match your brand design. Each entry takes a URL to a JavaScript or CSS file. Use Add for another entry and Remove to delete one.
This requires coding expertise.
Anything you add here runs on your checkout page, where customers enter payment details. Only reference files you control and can keep secure, and remove entries you no longer use.
URLs
All three are optional. Leaving a field empty keeps the default behaviour.

The Response URL is not needed for your orders to update. The app already handles the payment result from Buckaroo. This field is only for merchants who want the response sent to a system of their own as well.
Panel language
The language selector at the top of the left menu changes the language of the settings panel.
It does not affect what your customers see.
