Configuration
Settings that apply to the whole app live under General settings. Settings for an individual payment method are covered in Payment methods.
Mode
Mode is the app-wide switch between testing and live:

| No, I'm Testing | Nothing is charged. Use this while your shop is not live yet |
| Yes, I'm ready to receive payments | Real payments are processed |
This switch overrides the per-method mode. With the app set to No, I'm Testing, a payment method set to Live still does not take real payments. Both have to be right before you can be paid. See Test and go live.
Credentials
Website key and Secret key connect the app to your Buckaroo account. See Installation for where to find them and how to verify them with Test Connection.
Transaction description
The transaction description is visible in Plaza and on your customer's bank statement.
You can enter static text, or use tags that are filled in per order:
{order_number}{shop_name}
Including the order number makes it easier for customers to recognise a payment, and easier for you to trace one when they contact you about it.
Panel language
The language selector at the top of the left menu changes the language of the settings panel. It does not affect what your customers see.
