Payment methods

The Buckaroo apps for Shopify enable a wide variety of payment methods for your webshop. Each payment method app can be installed separately.

Shopify transaction surcharge

Each successful transaction processed through Shopify is subject to a 0.35% surcharge, in addition to the standard Buckaroo transaction costs per payment method. This surcharge applies because Shopify charges transaction fees for payments processed through an external payment service provider (PSP).

Available payment methods

Buckaroo offers a wide range of payment methods.
Below is an overview of the payment methods supported in Shopify, each available through a separate payment app.

Enable payment methods

You can easily enable installed payment methods within the Shopify dashboard.

• Log in to your Shopify dashboard.
• In the left-hand menu, select Settings (at the bottom).
• In the next menu, select Payments.
• Now click on the Buckaroo payment method app you would like to enable (for example in the screenshot below: Billink).
• You can enable the payment method with the toggle switch, the same for the test mode if you would like to test this method first.
