Configuring the Buckaroo extension for Shopware 5
A Buckaroo account is required to do test or live transactions with the Buckaroo extension for Shopware 5. Below you can find the configuration steps:
1. Go to the Buckaroo extension settings in Shopware 5
- Sign in to your Shopware 5 backend.
- Go to Configuration → Plugin Manager in the top main menu (ensure you are on the Installed menu on the left).
- In the list of installed plugins, locate the Buckaroo plugin and ensure it is active.
Go to settings
- Open the Buckaroo extension settings by clicking on the open button (pencil icon).
- In the main configuration screen of the Buckaroo extension, you will see a list of fields that need to be configured to connect with your Buckaroo account.

3. Fill in the settings below
3.1 Credentials
Store/Website key
- Enter your Buckaroo Store Key (Previously this was also known as the website key).
- This key is unique for each store, allowing you to track transactions per store.
- You can find it in the Buckaroo Plaza → Settings → API Keys.
Secret key
- Enter your Buckaroo Secret Key.
- This key is unique for your entire Buckaroo account.
- You can also find it in the Buckaroo Plaza at Settings → API Keys.
Merchant GUID
- Retrieve the GUID in the Buckaroo Plaza under My Buckaroo → General.
- The GUID is a long code consisting of letters and numbers.
Enable/disable payment methods
- Once the previously configured credentials are set, you can enable or disable payment methods.
- Configure each payment method for the test or live mode.
Configure payment methods
- For more detailed configuration options regarding specific payment methods, go to Configuration → Payment Methods.
- Here, you can enable or disable payment methods to be visible in the checkout.
- You can also configure the name of each payment method.
