Swish is a popular account-to-account payment method in Sweden, used by the vast majority of its inhabitants. Swish is the second most common way to make e-commerce payments. The payment method was established by major banks in cooperation with the central bank.

For an e-commerce payment, the consumer must enter their mobile phone number linked to their Swish account. They then manually open the Swish app to complete the payment using a standard Swedish ID verification method.

Swish is currently available for API and Hosted Payment Page integrations. We are working to make this payment method available across all our plugins by December 2025.
