Funds from customer payments stay in the sellers' Buckaroo accounts until Mirakl settles them. Mirakl
calculates what each seller is owed, minus commission and fees, in its billing cycle, and records it in an
accounting document (invoice). When an accounting document is marked as paid, the connector instructs
Buckaroo to pay out:

  • the seller amount to the seller, and
  • the operator amount (commission) to the operator.

You keep control of the timing through your Mirakl billing cycle and the moment you mark accounting documents as paid.

Amounts

The connector uses the amounts that Mirakl calculates. It does not calculate commission itself.

Seller payoutamount_transferredThe seller's Buckaroo account (buckaroo-id), then to the seller's bank account
Operator payoutamount_transferred_to_operatorThe operator's Buckaroo account

Commission and fees

You set up order commission in Mirakl, per category or per seller. Mirakl deducts it in the accounting
document, and you receive it in the operator payout. When an order line is refunded, the commission Mirakl
gives back comes out of your account (see Refunds and cancellations).

If you charge sellers a subscription fee in Mirakl, the fee on a paid accounting document is moved from the
seller's Buckaroo account to yours.

Example

Seller A sold €1,000 this cycle. Mirakl's commission is 12% incl. tax, and the monthly subscription fee is €45.

Timing

Payouts start within about an hour of an accounting document being marked as paid. Only documents from the last 45 days are considered, so older ones aren't paid out automatically. When the money reaches the
seller's bank depends on the Buckaroo payout schedule of their account.

Each accounting document is paid out once to the seller and once to the operator, and a successful payout is never sent again. A payout that fails is retried every hour until it goes through.
The same happens when the seller's shop has no buckaroo-id yet. Buckaroo is alerted in that case.

If a payout request gets no answer from Buckaroo, the connector can't tell whether the money went out.
It stops the run, and Buckaroo checks the payout before the next run so the seller isn't paid twice.
